patpatpat.xyz is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.
This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.
next id like to find (make?) a program to print raw bytes, like "printf '\xff' > whatever"
(perhaps i can just write a wrapper around the print function...)
Anyone know how to install 9front onto a USB stick? It seems like USBs are mounted as read only by default, not sure how to "remount" it as read-write. Whenever I try to use fdisk on the drive, it just freezes?
My plan (tee hee) is to have a little 9front installed on a USB, which I can just boot into when I feel the urge
I am pretty sure I did it once before, but I have completely forgotten how (maybe I dreamed it?)
